BCA is known as Bachelor of Computer Application which remains the most preferred degree of youth in today’s time. If you do BCA, then you get to learn many things related to computer during study, which may not be found in 1 or 2 year computer diploma.

BCA Educational Qualification for (BCA)

Although only students who have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Maths get admission in it, but there are some universities where you can get admission in BCA after passing 12th in any subject: Sikkim Manipal University, Makhanlal Chaturvedi University. Where you can get admission in 12th with any subject.

For admission in some colleges, entrance examinations are also conducted at their level, while in some colleges admission is given on the basis of marks obtained in 12th.

How much are the fees of BCA?

BCA fees in Government Colleges:

If you do BCA from any Govt college then you will have to pay around 5-7 thousand per annum. Since BCA has technical courses, then for this you may have to join coaching classes or programming classes other than college.

BCA fees in Private Colleges:

If you take admission in a private college, then you will have to pay a lot more fees than the government college. However, the fees for BCA are very less as compared to other courses like B.E., B.tec., courses. You may have to pay around 10-25 thousand per semester.

If you have done BCA and you want to progress further in this field then MCA is a best option for you. You must have seen that wherever a computer engineer / software engineer releases a release, BE, B.tec or MCA are asked for. Apart from MCA, you can also pursue various fields like I.T.
