NDA II 2021 Application Form has been released from 9th June 2021. National Defense Academy (NDA) entrance exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The exam is conducted twice – NDA I and NDA II. It is a national level exam which is conducted in various cities across India. Through NDA candidates get admission in defense in army, air force and navy. Candidates must go through the following details such as application form, fee payment, eligibility criteria and much more regarding NDA application form 2021.
NDA 2021 Application Form Complete Details
NDA 2021 Application Form is made available through online mode.
Candidates can apply for NDA twice in a year.
For NDA I 2021, candidates were able to fill the application form from 30 December 2020 to 19 January 2021.
The application form for NDA II is made available from 9th June to 29th June 2021.
Candidates must ensure their eligibility before filling NDA 2021 Application Form.
Only one application form will be accepted, so candidates should avoid filling multiple forms.
While filling the application form, candidates must not forget to upload the passport size photograph and signature along with the prescribed format and size.
There is no need to send any application to UPSC through any offline mode.
Once the application form is filled, candidates must not forget to take a printout of the filled application form for further use.
Application fee:
- Candidates are able to submit NDA 2021 Application Fee through both online or offline mode.
- Through online mode, candidates are able to use credit card, debit card or net banking.
- The e-challan method of SBI Bank can be used through offline mode.
- NDA 2021 application fee is Rs.100/-.
- Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ ORS, sons of NCO and JRO, category candidates are exempted from fee.
NDA 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must go through the following eligibility criteria before applying for NDA 2021:
General Eligibility:
Nationality: Indian Citizen, Subject of Bhutan or Nepal Category Candidates are Eligible for NDA 2021
A Tibetan refugee who came to India (before 1 January 1962) with the intention of permanently settling in India OR
Persons of Indian origin who migrated from Sri Lanka, Pakistan, East African, Uganda, Burma countries of Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, Zaire, Vietnam or the combined population of Ethiopia and Malawi with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Marital Status: Candidates must be unmarried to be eligible for NDA 2021.
Gender: Only male category candidates will be eligible to apply.
Age Limit: Candidate age should be between 16.5 to 19.5 years to be eligible for NDA 2021 exam.
NDA I- Applying candidates should be born between 2nd July 2002 to 1st July 2005.
NDA II- Applying candidates should be born between 2nd January 2003 to 1st January 2006.
Educational qualification:
For Army Wing or National Defense Academy: Candidates must have passed 12th or equivalent examination from any recognized board or university to be eligible for the exam.
For Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA and for 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme in Indian Naval Academy: Applying candidates must have passed 12th with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects to be eligible for the exam .
Physical Fitness: Candidates must be physically fit as per the norms prescribed by the authorities.
Appearing: Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination will also be eligible to apply for NDA.

How to apply for NDA 2021
The candidates must follow the following steps while filling the NDA application form:
Visit the official website (Link is given above)
Candidates must follow Part I and Part II registration.
Part I consists of personal and qualification details such as candidate’s name, Aadhar number, marital status, gender, branch’s preference, etc.
Part II contains details like choice of exam centre, uploading of image and signature and payment of application fee.
The photograph and signature should be in JPG format with the size between 20 kb to 300 kb.
After filling both the parts, double check and verify the given details.
After that go to Declaration and tick on “I Agree” option.
Now a confirmation page will appear on your computer screen
Take a printout of the confirmation page for future use.
